The Story Behind Refined INK & The Artist.

I’ve spent two decades working with skin, but my work has always gone deeper than that, Skin holds stories of confidence, loss, identity, healing and my path has always led me toward helping people rewrite those stories.

I didn’t grow up imagining a career in beauty or tattooing, I grew up on a farm, thinking I’d work with animals, engines and tools life has a way of steering you toward what you’re meant for.

I found myself in beauty therapy by chance, supported by women who saw something in me before I saw it in myself, the decision to move into beauty reshaped my entire life.

Since then, I’ve travelled the world working aboard cruise ships, learning from people across cultures, and discovered how deeply confidence affects a person’s sense of self.

Tattooing was always a quiet dream, I just never believed it was a door meant for me, but life brought the opportunity back around when I was finally ready for it & now, it feels like all my experience has led to this moment.

Refined INK exists because healing is possible. Confidence is reclaimable. Our scars, emotional or physical, don’t have to define us.

Through cosmetic & paramedical tattoo, SMP & fine-line artistry, I help people feel whole again, or simply more like themselves.

My work is about healing & transformation & I’m honoured to hold space for every person who walks through my door
